Our commitment to environmental and social sustainability is an integral part of our daily activities in ARMOTOURS. As a means of reducing our carbon footprint, we are improving recycling, reducing waste and reusing materials whenever possible, as well as improving the efficiency of resources in all of our company departments. Additionally, we require that the providers we work with have a similar commitment to the environment and social welfare.

Sustainability on the road
To reduce our CO2 emissions footprint, Costa Rica has established several regulations including the control of vehicle circulation. Two of these strategies are:
A mandatory annual inspection of each circulating vehicle. All rental car providers offer inspected vehicles that should operate in optimum conditions.
An environmental program restricting the circulation of vehicles on given days of the week based on the last digit of their license plate. Rental vehicles are exempted from this program. Despite not being measures that affect drivers of rental vehicles, at ARMOTOURS we expect our visitors to value and respect these and other environmental protection strategies while traveling through our country.
