Day 1: San José - Rincón de la Vieja - Hot springs at Guachipelín

You will ride across the Central Valley to descend the San Ramón Mountains and continue through the beautiful pampa until Liberia. Ascension through a secondary road to arrive at Rincón. Afternoon free to enjoy the hot springs at Guachipelín.

Day 2: Rincón de la Vieja Volcano and National Park

Visit of the Rincón de la Vieja National Park that with its 14,084ha. comprises an active strato Volcano. Nature is diverse with giant trees and offers more than 257 bird species. At the foot of the southern flank of the volcano there is an area of intense volcanic activity known as Las Pailas, which covers approximately 50 ha. which consists of hot springs, solfataric lakes, soffioni or holes that expel clouds of steam. Or in "Azufrales" you will enjoy small pools with hot springs and also a site with refreshing waterfalls.

Day 3: River Blanco at Rincón de la Vieja - San José

Morning at leisure to visit the incredible red deep hole at river Blanco. Early afternoon, transfer through the Pan American Highway to arrive in San José.
