Day 1:
San José - San Ramón - La Fortuna |
 |
Transfer through the Pan American Highway to San Ramón where
you will start climbing the Central Volcanic Mountain Range.
You will enjoy the exotic vegetation of the cloud forest
before you arrive at La Fortuna in the San Carlos Lowlands.

Day 2: Arenal
Volcano National Park and Tabacón Hot Springs |

After sleeping quietly for more than 400 years, the Arenal
erupted with tremendous force in July 1968. The almost
perfect cone, at 1.633 m. above sea level, has a crater
140m. deep formed over an ancient caldera. It continues to
erupt daily but at a smaller scale. Visitors can see the
lava eruptions that during the evening look like an
impressive fireworks display. Visit also Tabacón, a nice
resort with 5 natural thermo-mineral water swimming pools,
waterfalls and exotic ecological gardens.

- San José |

Morning at leisure to enjoy the surroundings of La Fortuna.
Early afternoon, transfer through the picturesque route of
La Tigra to San José.
