You will visit La Sabana Park, Rohrmoser and Los Yoses residential areas, the Central Park, the Cathedral, the National Theatre, the Main Post Building, the small Parliament, the Gold Museum, the University of Costa Rica and Moravia souvenir shops. Ride to the famous Butterfly Farm, one of the largest in the Western Hemisphere to observe the rearing of live butterflies for export. Within a beautiful enclosed garden, visitors will see hundreds of live butterflies in all stages of their life cycle.

You will drive through the Pan American Highway to San Ramón where you will start climbing the Central Volcanic Mountain Range to arrive La Fortuna. Late afternoon you will have the opportunity to see the Arenal Volcano with its almost perfect conic form and its lava eruptions. You will also enjoy the Hot Springs at Tabacón with its idyllic tropical gardens.

Departure around the Arenal Lake, passing the picturesque city of Tilarán to arrive at Monteverde. Afternoon visit of this 10.000 ha. (24.710 acres) Private Reserve, which is always cold and humid thanks to the rain clouds coming from the Caribbean. Exuberant forest area with trees covered with moss and ferns that protect the home of different exotic frogs and the resplendent quetzal (one of the 400 kinds of birds to be found here).
