Short description: You will begin your journey by visiting the world´s largest geyser at Poás Volcano and a typical market in Ciudad Quesada.  Admire the lava eruptions at the famous Arenal Volcano and the relaxing Tabacón hot springs.  The tour leads you then to the sulfuric cones and the beauty of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano and National Park.  Later, you will cross the border with Nicaragua to visit the largest colonial cathedral at León and the famous colonial city of Granada at the Lake of Nicaragua.  You will visit the largest island on this lake before you return to the well known Costa Rican beaches on the Papagayo Gulf.

Short description:  Departure across the Aguacate Mountains to arrive at the middle Pacific Coast where you will be enchanted by the Manuel Antonio National Park directly on the beach.  Then, you will visit the transitional forest at Hacienda Barú before you arrive at Las Cruces Biological Station on the south.  Later, cross the border with Panama to visit picturesque Boquete and the highland coffee plantations.  A major highlight is the visit of the La Amistad International Park shared with Costa Rica and acknowledged in 1982 as a biosphere reserve, protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
